Florida withstands UK rally to win comfortably

UK’s problems of the last two weeks were magnified on Saturday in a 84-65 loss to No. 1 University of Florida on the Gators’ Senior Day. The Cats fell behind by a large margin only to chomp into the deficit in the second half, where a comeback was too much to ask for against the nation’s top-ranked team.

UK plans to sign new long-term lease for Rupp Arena

UK will sign a new long-term lease with the city of Lexington that allows UK basketballl to continue to play games at Rupp Arena. UK spokesman Jay Blanton said Wednesday that the university, “as primary tenants” of the building, approve of the new design of Rupp Arena.
