Kentucky quarterback Devin Leary was drafted to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday in the 2024 NFL Draft, getting selected No. 218 overall in the sixth round.

The Sicklerville, New Jersey, native sculpted some good numbers this past season with the Cats, throwing 25 touchdown passes and 2,746 passing yards through 13 games, leading UK to a 7-6 overall record. He also threw 12 interceptions this season.

Leary had a notable performance in the 2023 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl with UK as he threw for 306 passing yards and two touchdowns while surrendering two interceptions on 28 attempted passes against the Clemson Tigers. That bowl game went down to the wire and Kentucky fell 38-35.

Before playing this past season with Kentucky, Leary played four seasons with the NC State Wolfpack where he put up some unbelievable numbers through his long tenured time there.

In 2021 as a junior, Leary threw 35 touchdown passes and just five interceptions, helping carve NC State a path to a 9-3 record and his best statistical collegiate season.

That season was followed up by a mediocre 2022, as he threw 11 touchdowns and four interceptions through six short games before suffering a season-ending injury on October 8 against Florida State.

Leary is following in the footsteps of former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis, who was selected by the Tennessee Titans No. 33 overall in last year’s NFL Draft. As Leary has been drafted this year, the two are now the first ever pair of Kentucky quarterbacks to get drafted in back-to-back years.
