“The emergency situation related to shots fired is over,” a UK Alert sent out at 4:41 a.m said.

According to a UK news release, UK police issued the “All Clear” alert at 4:35 a.m.

UK Police said two people were sent to the hospital following the shooting, the release said, and Lexington Police are investigating the shooting.

The release said Lexington Police “are looking for two black male suspects in a green Camaro or Monte Carlo last seen traveling north on Limestone.”

A first UK Alert went out Friday morning at 3:15 a.m. said, “Shots fired on South Limestone Street near CD Central!”

The new release asked the campus community to report any suspicious activity to UK Police.
