UK junior safety Ashely Lowery has been hospitalized after being involved in a car accident in Georgia on Friday evening, a UK spokesperson confirmed to the Kernel on Saturday.
The spokesman says Lowery is receiving treatment in a Georgia hospital but there is no details on his condition at this time.
Lowery, who hails from Celeveland, Ga., started eight games for the Cats in the 2012 season.
