Armed robbery reported near Newtown Crossing

An armed robbery occurred Sunday at 11:40 p.m. near Newtown Crossing Apartments, according to a UK Police alert.
Two males approached a UK student with one handgun and shirts covering their faces, according to the alert.
The suspects robbed the student of personal property, according to the police report.
The suspects were last seen heading toward Scott Street.
