The upcoming Kentucky Pros vs. Dominican national team exhibition game (Aug. 15 at 7:30 p.m.) will feature 11 NBA players combined.

The eight-player Kentucky Pros team, as released by John Calipari, will consist of:

• John Wall
• DeMarcus Cousins
• Eric Bledsoe
• Jodie Meeks
• Keith Bogans
• Tayshaun Prince
• Rajon Rondo
• Nazr Mohammed
• Will be coached by Joe B. Hall and Sam Bowie

Honestly, that sounds like the “custom team” I would be creating in NBA 2k11 anyway. And my starting five, because that’s what this event lets us do: Cousins, Prince, Meeks, Wall, Rondo.

The Dominican team will have 12 players, including NBA players Al Horford, Charlie Villanueva and Francisco Garcia, and will be coached by Calipari.

Presale tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. (which, it should be noted, is a change from the original listing of Thursday) and general public tickets are slated to go on sale Monday.

ProCamps, Inc. is in charge of putting on the event. UK is not involved. ProCamps organized various athletic camps, including John Calipari’s Camp in late July that features Brandon Knight, Josh Harrellson and DeAndre Liggins.
