After its two straight home SEC wins over Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, the Kentucky men’s basketball team jumped from no. 18 to no. 12 in the Week 11 Associated Press top 25 rankings.

Just one SEC team sits ahead of the Wildcats in the poll– the Tennessee Volunteers (14-1), who rank third in the country. UK has survived two out of its three conference tests this season, its one SEC loss coming from Alabama on the road. The Cats have two upcoming road games this week, one at Georgia and Auburn, UGA being unranked and the Tigers checking in two spots behind the Cats at no. 14.

Up next, Kentucky is set to face the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
