Former University of Kentucky quarterback Will Levis recently immortalized his name in the world of condiments by signing a “lifetime contract” with Hellmann’s.

The deal comes after Levis went viral two years ago when video surfaced of Levis putting mayonnaise in his coffee while eating with his girlfriend.

Another video of Levis adding mayo to his coffee a year later during SEC media day would spark interest from Hellmann’s, interest that would lead to an official partnership.

“It’s not every day that someone offers to compensate you in mayonnaise,” Levis said in a press conference announcing the partnership.

Chris Symmes, the marketing director for Hellmann’s parent company Unilever, said the deal shows the “versatility” of mayonnaise in both food and drink and its necessity on not just gameday, but every day.

“Levis and Hellmann’s aim to show how mayonnaise’s limitless possibilities can creatively elevate any dish,” Symmes said in a press release. “Even if that means adding a dollop to your morning coffee.”

With the issue of mayonnaise being solved indefinitely, Levis can now shift all his focus back to his day job: becoming a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Following a trade up by the Tennessee Titans that saw Levis go 33rd overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, he’ll have the opportunity to do so as he battles with 2022 third round pick Malik Willis for the second-string job behind starter Ryan Tannehill.
