Sure, you can have a tutor, a hair stylist, an accountant, etc. but you can also have a sorority recruitment consultant. Yes, you read that right.

In a world of hectic rush weeks and competitive recruitment processes, sorority consultants help girls navigate a world they’re likely not used to. Often run by sorority alumni and mothers of sorority girls, consultants cover dress codes, small talk, and extensive social media monitoring in private and group workshops.

Consultants build a strong relationship with their clients before and during rush week, sometimes talking to them every day either in sessions or over the phone. 90-minute sessions can cost $100 per meeting, but the results are usually quite effective, getting girls into one of their top choices.
