Kentucky senior linebacker Josh Allen is the recipient of yet another major award, this time the Chuck Bednarik Award for the Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year, which was announced Thursday evening at the Home Depot College Football Awards Show in Atlanta.

This award joins Allen’s Bronko Nagurski Trophy for National Defensive Player of the Year and his SEC Defensive Player of the Year by the AP and SEC coaches honor.
