Kentucky STUNT claimed its first conference title in the program’s four-year history, as well as earning a school record of 27 wins on the season, with its win of the Mid America West Conference Tournament.
The Wildcats hosted the tournament inside Historic Memorial Coliseum, where they were the No. 1 seed in the event, and faced No. 4 seed Mercyhurst, followed by No. 2 seeded Trevecca Nazarene on day one of the tournament.
Day one showed the Cats dominating in their home arena, earning their fifth perfect game of the season against Mercyhurst and a 23-5 win against Trevecca.
Day two followed the same pattern, where Kentucky faced off for the second time on the weekend against Trevecca Nazarene, leading the Trojans the entirety of the game, and capping it with a 23-4 win.
Earning All-Tournament First Team honors were Kentucky’s Isabella Doria and Isabella Franzella, as well as an All-Tournament Second Team honor for Emma Green.
This is the first time in program history that the team will go into the National Championship with only one loss, and the second time in program history they will go into the championship with a winning record.
Kentucky STUNT will return to action for the last time this season on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25, at the 2025 Division I STUNT National Championship in Nashville, Tennessee. Game times and opponents have yet to be determined.
