No. 22 Kentucky gymnastics (1-10-1, 1-6-1 SEC) fell to No. 3 Florida (20-2, 6-2 SEC) in a senior night matchup at Historic Memorial Coliseum.
To conclude regular-season action, the Cats fell to the Gators 198.575-197.225. The score for the Cats is their second-best team score this season and top mark inside Historic Memorial Coliseum.
Florida’s score of 198.575 is the highest score in the NCAA this year, besting its own mark of 198.450 set last week.
Despite Kentucky’s tough end to its regular season, two Cats took home event titles with scores of 9.950.
Anna Flynn Cashion and Creslyn Brose each won an event title on vault and floor, respectively.
Cashion’s win marked her third vault title of the season and fourth of her career while also matching her career-high of 9.950.
Brose earned her 11th career win on floor and her fourth score of 9.950 this season.
In the all-around, Rodriguez led the Cats with a 39.475, her ninth score of at least 39.400 in 10 meets this season. Rodriguez, who has constantly been ranked in the top 10 this season for the all-around, also earned a new career-high of 9.950 on the balance beam.
“Getting a career high is always such a proud moment,” Rodriguez said. “I feel like I’ve just tried to be really aggressive on that event, and try and use the fight and anger and just like I want to hit this so well.”
The Cats posted season-high scores of 49.350 on vault and 49.500 on the floor.
The night started strong for the Cats with their best vault rotation of the season.

Kentucky finished the meet on floor, earning its first score of 49.500 on any event this season. Van Frayen led off, scoring a 9.850, followed by Rizo, who matched her career high with the exact same score.
Triple 9.900s were put up by Bennett, Gardner, and Rodriguez, with Bennett setting a new career high and Gardner matching hers. Brose, who is nationally ranked on floor, closed out the night with a 9.950 to put the Cats at an overall score of 197.225.
The Cats finished their regular season at home but will return to Historic Memorial Coliseum as they host the NCAA Gymnastics Regional.
“It definitely feels nice to be able to be in your home crowd and have all the Kentucky fans cheering you on,” Rodriguez said. “You know that everyone is just rooting for you, and it’s also more comfortable because you’re on your own equipment… I’m definitely super excited, really pumped, very determined.”
