Police are investigating a vehicle fire in the parking lot behind Memorial Hall, according to a crime bulletin issued Monday, June 9.
The crime bulletin, sent via email by the University of Kentucky Police Department to the campus community, said that the fire occurred on Sunday, June 8, and was extinguished by the Lexington Fire Department.
Preliminary investigations show an “unknown subject” approaching a parked Nissan Altima and “intentionally” setting it on fire.
This incident is still under investigation by the UKPD and the University of Kentucky Fire Marshal’s office.
