The University of Kentucky Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering has created an artificial intelligence major, the first in Kentucky, which will be implemented in the fall of 2026. The courses of the AI major will have students studying computer engineering basics, such as calculus and programming, then learning how to implement AI into computing.
