Kentucky STUNT competed at home this weekend at the Historic Memorial Coliseum, facing off against Purdue Northwest, Michigan State and, finally, Missouri Valley in the Midwest Showdown.
Kentucky STUNT continued its winning streak this weekend, defeating Purdue Northwest 24-0. The Wildcats took all four points in partner stunts to start the game, jumping to a 4-0 lead. In the second quarter, Kentucky maintained its dominance in pyramids and tosses, adding another four points to take an 8-0 lead at halftime
In the second half, Kentucky extended its lead by earning four more points in jumps and tumbling. The Wildcats then swept all 12 points in the team routine, securing a dominant 24-0 victory.
Kentucky entered its second game of the day ready to continue its winning streak against Michigan State. The Wildcats claimed all four points in partner tosses, allowing Michigan State to take one point in pyramids and tosses before earning three more themselves, building a 7-1 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, Kentucky and Michigan State alternated points, ending the period with the Wildcats ahead 10-3. However, Kentucky took control in the final quarter, defeating the Spartans 21-5.
On day two of the Midwest Showdown, Kentucky faced off against Missouri Valley. The Wildcats took an early lead in the first quarter, winning all four points in partner stunts. They continued their dominance through the second, third and fourth quarters, securing a 23-0 victory.
With the win, Kentucky improved to 9-0 this season, marking the longest winning streak in STUNT history.
Kentucky will take its white team to Ohio on Sunday in New Concord, Ohio, to face off against Muskingum.
