Colleges Against Cancer would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Relay For Life on April 16.

Thanks to your hard work and fundraising, we were able to raise more than $22,000 — double what we raised last year.

There are many people who we’d like to thank for their support and extreme hard work. Thank you first and foremost to all of our cancer survivors and their caregivers. You make us very proud!

Thank you to our sponsors, our teams, UK and any others that are a part of Relay For Life that we didn’t mention. And lastly, thank you to our Relay For Life Committee for your tireless devotion.

Now it’s time to start planning for our 2012 event, and we are looking for students who are dedicated to fighting back against cancer to join our Executive Board.

We have 22 positions available to help plan and execute Relay 2012, which will be bigger and better than ever! Applications can be found on our website — relayforlife.org/Kentucky — and are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 29.

We would love to see many organizations represented on our Executive Board, so help us spread the word.
