NBA chatter heats up

May 8 is coming closer.

The deadline for underclassmen to withdraw — which means Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones and DeAndre Liggins — is Sunday, and all three still have the possibility of returning to UK for another year.

A couple different national media people have put out some information concerning what the three could do. ESPN’s Andy Katz

DraftExpress also tweeted that Jones returning to UK is looking like a viable option.

All this comes on the heels of the Kentucky Combine, in which the three worked out for personnel from about 20 teams over the course of two days. The Combine featured drills and workouts for the teams, but most importantly for the players, NBA personnel had a chance to interview the players and give them feedback on where they are projected to be in the NBA Draft.

Liggins is still set to participate in the New Jersey Combine. He is listed as participating on Sunday, May 8 — the same date he would have to withdraw his name if he were to return to UK.
