Here’s a prospect whose positivity toward UK shines through his hedges.

“I’m just a big fan of coach Cal, but that’s not to say that I won’t give everybody else a fair shot,” said Class of 2012 top-10 prospect Archie Goodwin in an interview with the Commercial Appeal’s Jason Smith. “That’s not true because maybe Kentucky won’t be the school for me. Just because I was so happy I got the offer (from Kentucky in January) doesn’t mean that I’m throwing out all the other schools automatically. That’s not the case.”

Now, I’m not one to infer just how much this means or whether this signifies that UK is the leader. But it’s pretty clear that, at the very least, Archie Goodwin likes UK. He’s already confirmed he’s visiting campus to Adam Zagoria.
