John Calipari said three freshmen will “have the opportunity to go to the NBA after this season on an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show.

“Now whether they will all do it, I don’t know,” Calipari said, noting that some players may feel they are not “emotionally ready” or want to come back.

The conversation comes on the heels of plenty of talk about whether some freshmen, including Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, could return for a second year.
