With the first pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, the New Orleans Hornets selected Anthony Davis, commissioner David Stern announced Thursday night from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Upon his selection being announced, Davis was met with hugs from coach John Calipari and UK teammate Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
