Cauley-Stein takes Freshman of the Week honors

UK forward Willie Cauley-Stein has been named SEC Freshman of the Week.
Cauley-Stein scored 11 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals in UK’s 90-38 win over Eastern Michigan at Rupp Arena on Wednesday to seal the award.
Wednesday’s game was the second outing this season in which the 7-foot, 244-pound freshman has secured a double-double in his young collegiate career.
Cauley-Stein is the third Cat to receive the accolade this season, following in the footsteps of guard Archie Goodwin and forward Alex Poythress.
Sophomore forward Kyle Wiltjer was named SEC Player of the Week earlier in the 2012-13 campaign.
