Men’s tennis wins two in Alabama

Following a weeklong break, the No. 6 UK men’s tennis team headed south to Birmingham, Ala., on Sunday to face Samford and Jacksonville State.
In the first match, the Cats defeated Samford, 5-1, with senior Anthony Rossi defeating Samford’s Zac Dunkle to spur the Cats to victory.
Rossi again led the Cats to victory later Sunday, as they defeated Jacksonville State, 5-1.
UK (12-2) returns home this weekend to begin SEC play, hosting Arkansas on Friday and No. 24 Louisiana State on Sunday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.
