UK Police were notified around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious incident in the Smith Hall area, according to a public safety notice sent campuswide.
A witness reported she saw two males approach a female. One of the males grabbed the female’s shoulder before the female turned and kicked him, the notice said.
The female described the male who grabbed her as a white male of 40 to 50 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with long gray hair. He was wearing a black hat, a long green trench coat and a black shoulder bag.
The second male is a white male with an average build 40 to 50 years old, about 6 feet tall, and wearing a black jacket and a black shoulder bag.
When the alert was sent out to campus no one was reported as a victim of the incident.
This was the second notice sent out to UK students regarding their safety Tuesday. The first was regarding a gas leak on South Campus that has since been fixed.
