UK offers free parking for those moving out of dorms

UK announced on Monday that it will offer free parking on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for those moving out of residence halls.
Students and parents are invited to park for free in parking structure No. 7 on South campus and parking structure No. 5 on North campus.
Parking structure No. 7 is located on Sports Center Drive while parking structure No. 5 sits on South Limestone, adjacent to Kennedy’s book store.
The UK press releases states that vehicles must leave the parking structures by 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
Parking structure No. 7 will also remain open until 10 p.m. on Friday, however parking structure No. 5 will close at the earlier time of 6 p.m.
The university has also advised those who use parking structure No. 2 and wish to access South campus or the UK Healthcare campus by foot should use Huguelet Drive, University Drive, Hilltop Avenue and Rose Street.
This is due to the construction/demolition site at Haggin Hall.
