Junior college linebacker commits to Stoops, Cats

UK head coach Mark Stoops picked up another commitment to the Cats’ 2014 recruiting class on Wednesday when junior college linebacker Ryan Flannigan revealed he will be heading to UK.
Flannigan will spend 2013 as a sophomore at Blinn (Texas) Junior College before transferring to UK in 2014.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker previously committed to play for UK assistant coaches Neal Brown, Tommy Mainord and Chad Scott when the trio were on the staff at Texas Tech.
Now, he’ll be playing for them and Stoops in Lexington.
With the addition of Flannigan, the Cats now have 11th recruits committed from the class of 2014.
