Junior infielder J.T. Riddle became the fourth UK baseball player to be selected in the 2013 MLB Draft when he was taken by Miami with the 382nd overall pick on Saturday.
The Frankfort native batted for a .283 average in his third season with the Cats, leading all starters in fewest strikeouts with 14.
Riddle joins senior pitcher Jerad Grundy and junior pitchers Trevor Gott and Corey Littrell on the list of Cats drafted in 2013.
