Former UK guards Archie Goodwin and Eric Bledsoe became teammates on Tuesday when Bledsoe was traded to the Phoenix Suns.

Suns general manager Ryan McDonough acquired Bledsoe from the Los Angeles Clippers in a three-team trade involving the Milwaukee Bucks.

Phoenix also picked up Caron Butler in the deal, with J.J. Reddick and Jared Dudley moving to the Clippers and the Bucks getting two second-round draft picks.

Bledsoe made 12 starts in 76 appearances for the Clippers in 2012-13 in addition to coming off the bench six times during the playoffs.

The Birmingham, Ala., native played one season in Lexington before being dafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the 18th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft before being traded to Los Angeles.

Goodwin was selected by Oklahoma City with the 29th pick in the 2013 NBA draft before his rights were traded first to Golden State and then to Phoenix.
