UK Hoops picked to finish second in SEC by media

The SEC league office announced Monday that UK Hoops was voted by the media to finish second in the SEC behind the University of Tennessee.
UK senior center DeNesha Stallworth was tabbed as a preseason All-SEC First Team member after being named to the 2012-13 All-SEC First Team at the end of last season.
UK Hoops enters the season following their third NCAA Tournament Elite Eight appearance in the past four years, and a No. 7 national ranking at the end of the year. The Cats also won a record 30 games last season and will return four starters from the record-breaking team, including Stallworth, who was the team’s leading scorer last season.
