Tuesday, Oct. 11 is the last day for Kentuckians to register to vote.

Future voters must submit their application by 4 p.m. Without registering, citizens cannot vote in the Nov. 8 presidential election.

Those wanting to register can do so online. Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes launched the website in March.

Over 40,000 have used the website to registered to vote, according to a Sept. 20 press release from her office.

“Online voter registration has been a game-changer for Kentuckians,” Grimes said in the press release. “They’re responding overwhelmingly to this new tool because it’s easier than ever to register to vote and update your registration online. And, importantly, it’s saving time and money for government.”
