Caturday is fast approaching, which means it’s car relocation time.

For home games during football season, students with certain permits are required to move their cars to accommodate game day parking.

According to UK Transportation Services, students and employees with the following parking permits will be required to relocate their vehicle: Kroger Field parking lots (Red, Blue, Orange, Greg Page Overflow Lot, Soccer/Softball Complex Lots), Sports Center Garage (PS #7) and Sports Center Lots.

Vehicles must be moved before 7 a.m. on game day, Saturday, Sept. 9. Students and employees who park in Kroger Field Green Lot must move their car before 10 p.m. the night before game day. Vehicles that are parked in motorcycle or motor scooter spaces or at metered spaces are also required to relocate.

Students and employees who park in parking structures R7 and R2 are not required to relocate.

R2 will be used for relocation parking, so spots are not guaranteed on game day for those holding an R2 pass.

Absolutely no parking is permitted on University Drive.

Vehicles can be moved starting at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Failure to do so could result in a citation or impoundment at the owner’s expense, according to UK Transportation Services. All cars must be moved back by 5 a.m. on Monday.
