UPDATE: The driver of a Lextran bus that collided with cars parked along Limestone Monday afternoon possibly had a medical incident that caused him to briefly faint or pass out, Lexington police said.

Around 1:11 p.m. Monday, the bus—which had seven passengers—struck the first of a line of cars, causing each car in the row to collide with one another.

No injuries were reported at the scene, Lexington Police Public Information Officer, Brenna Angel said.

According to pictures and videos shot by students at the scene, the bus caused significant damage to five cars parked in the paid spots near the pedestrian bridge that crosses South Limestone.
