Wofford Threats:

Standout Senior Fletcher Magee earned the honor of being named the Malcolm U. Pitt Player of the year. He is the first two-time winner of the award in Wofford history. He ranks fifth among active players (NCAA DI) with 2,484 points.

“I think what makes him such a good shooter is he has a lot of confidence… he’s a really good player, and we’ve just got to be ready for all that,” UK guard Immanuel Quickley said.

Currently, Magee holds the NCAA record for most career three-pointers scored with 509.

“…I just know we have to guard the three in order to win the game,” guard Jemarl Baker Jr. said.

Sophomore Storm Murphy leads the team in assists with 103. Senior Cameron Jackson leads the team in blocks (34) and rebounding. Wofford consistently plays 11-12 players in each of its games. The team’s 21 straight wins is the longest active winning streak nationally.

Throughout the year, the Wildcats have focused on becoming better defensively.

“I think throughout the year we just have to focus on the little details of like getting through screens and things like that and they emphasized defending the three the whole year,” guard Jemarl Baker Jr. said.
