Coffea, located on the corner of Avenue of Champions and Rose Street, announced to the public that its last day of operation will be Sunday, June 12, on Facebook.

The coffee shop has been opened for nine years and has become a favorite spot for some UK students to study and meet with friends. 

Coffea’s Assistant General Manager Hallie Decker said for the rest of the weekend, Coffea is running a special on affogato, or espresso over ice cream. The dessert will cost $2.75.
