A man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery that occurred around 7 p.m. Dec. 1 near an apartment complex on Red Mile Road.

David A. Stephens, 23, has been charged with first degree robbery, according to the Lexington Police Department. 

The reported victim is said to be a student at UK. He said he had just gotten into his car and was looking for his phone when a man entered into the backseat and held a gun to his ribs, according to a report from ABC 16. The report also said the armed man took the victim’s car keys, wallet and cellphone.

No one was hurt, according to police.
