UK Housing is preparing to make living on campus “even better” in the upcoming fall semester.

UK Housing announced changes, which are based on a recent housing survey, in an email titled “We’ve Heard You.”

One change is no rate increases for current residents living on campus next year for the same unit type.

Boyd Hall will be an upper-class hall. It will remain open during break at no charge and will be experiencing relaxed visitation policy.

Laundry will also be improved, with upgraded and adding more washer and dryer units to provide more accessibility for residents.

WiFi will see a boost, too, in each residence hall. Maintenance will increase efforts to keep residence halls clean.

“We know you have choices on where to live and we thank you for choosing to live in UK Campus Housing,” the email read. “We are committed to ensuring the choice of living on campus—as part of the UK community—maximizes your success and sense of belonging.”
