No. 5 seed Kentucky women’s basketball defeated No. 4 seed West Virginia to advance the Wildcats to the Sweet 16 on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Hope Coliseum in Morgantown, W.Va. Kentucky beat No. 12 seed James Madison to advance to the Round of 32 on Saturday, March 21. The Wildcats will play No. 1 seed Texas on Saturday, March 28, at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
