As president of the Latino Student Union and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Alex Gonzalez is heavily involved at the University of Kentucky. Gonzalez fosters community, inclusivity and belonging in each of the clubs she is involved in. However, Gonzalez has also experienced hardship as a leader.
