Earlier this semester, the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees granted final approval to launch the state’s first ever artificial intelligence major. The curriculum will focus on areas like generative AI, tools such as ChatGPT, and machine learning systems used in social media algorithms. The department also plans to offer a minor to pair with the major.
