Just up the hill from the Keeneland racetrack, sits the Keeneland Library, the largest repository of information that is related to the Thoroughbred industry. The library houses nearly 40,000 books, 25 million pages of newsprint and articles and five million still images that cover the Thoroughbred industry’s history. However, the library does more than just preserve and chronicle the past; they actively research the current industry, showcasing their depth of information for the future.
