Sophomore center Jon Toth was named Southeastern Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week on Monday following UK’s impressive 59-14 victory over the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Toth was part of an offensive line that gashed the Skyhawks defense for 234 yards and held UT-Martin without a sack.

Toth is playing his second season as starter for an offensive line that returned four starters from a 2013 squad that went 2-10. Toth helped three different UK players rush for over 400 yards in a season where he was named SEC-All Freshman team and was named to the SEC All-Academic Honor Roll.

After an offseason in which he gained nearly 15 pounds of muscle, Toth entered this season a seasoned veteran under center after starting 11 of 12 games last year.
