5-star forward Trey Lyles commits to UK

Trey Lyles, the No. 7 overall player in the class of 2014, according to ESPN, has committed to UK.
The five-star forward from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Ind., announced his decision in a press conference on ESPNU on Tuesday.
Lyles was in Lexington for Big Blue Madness on Oct. 18, but also had an official visit to Louisville on Aug. 31. Lyles had shortened his list to UK and Louisville via his Instagram account.
The 6-foot-10, 255-pound power forward committed to Tom Crean and the Indiana Hoosiers before de-committing and reopening his recruitment on Aug. 7, 2012, according to Jeff Borzello of CBS.
Lyles is listed as the No. 2 overall power forward in the nation, according to ESPN, and joins the likes of five-star center Karl Towns Jr., four-star point guard Tyler Ulis and newly committed five-star shooting guard Devin Booker for the Cats’ 2014 recruiting class.
