The UK men’s basketball team trails Duke 33-31 at halftime in the State Farm Champions Class in Atlanta.

The Cats led by as many as six early, but the Blue Devils fought back to take a lead late in the half.

Freshman Alex Poythress leads UK with 10 points and three rebounds. Fellow freshman Nerlens Noel added eight points and two rebounds.

Duke senior Mason Plumlee leads all scorers with 14 first half points.
