UK baseball head coach Gary Henderson has announced three intrasquad scrimmages, starting Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 2:05 p.m at Cliff Hagan Stadium. Tuesday’s scrimmage will last five innings.

The weekend will feature two scrimmages. On Friday, the Cats will play eight innings beginning at 2:05 p.m. On Saturday, the first pitch of a six-inning scrimmage is scheduled for 11:05 a.m.

The Cats return two freshman standouts, Austin Cousino (SEC Freshman of the Year) and A.J. Reed (consensus first-team freshman All-American), from last year’s 45 win team, a school record. Nine players on last year’s team were picked in the MLB Draft, also a school record.
