Reggie Miller to call UK-Tennessee game

Reggie Miller has been involved in plenty of NBA broadcasts with TNT.

He’s going back to college as the analyst for the UK-Tennessee game Sunday.

It’s Miller’s first time calling a college game, in preparation for calling the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament before moving to the TNT studio for the remainder of the tournament.

In an interview with Yahoo for a story published March 1, Miller discussed the move back to the college game. He called UK a young team and discussed their chances of making the Tournament.

“They’re great at home, but on the road in the SEC, you look at some of the teams and it’s tough to get a victory. I hate to call Kentucky a bubble team because I still think they’ll get in, but this is a must-win for them at Tennessee.”

Most bracketologists have UK pegged as a No. 4-6 seed.

Miller has said he’s been watching more college basketball in preparation, and trying to get a feel for all the teams — as opposed to the 30 in the NBA — is the biggest adjustment.
