Banners protest new lodge name

Students from an unnamed organization staged a multi-banner drop throughout campus Wednesday in response to the “Wildcat Coal Lodge.”

The banners were intended to send the message that the university was turning campus into a corporation by association names of businesses with various buildings on campus.

There were six banners and one poster hung at 4 a.m. and all were removed by 5:30 a.m.
