Mayor Jim Newberry will hold a press conference Friday at 2 p.m. at the downtown Government Building to discuss fire safety violations in housing near UK’s campus.  Fire and police representatives will also be at the meeting.

The conference will be held in the 12th Floor of the Mayor’s Office in the Government Building on E. Main Street.
