Protestors call for UK to release sexual assault records

Students march on campus in protest of the handling of recent sexual misconduct cases at UK.

UK Feminist Alliance and other protestors marched across campus Friday afternoon to protest the university’s handling of sexual assault at UK. 

They held signs calling for attention to cases at the university and urged President Eli Capilouto to release records in an investigation involving former associate professor, James Harwood. 

The students made posters Thursday night regarding sexual assault on campus.

The group began marching at 12:30 p.m. near the Woodland Glen basketball courts and the group plans to keep marching until Capilouto responds or 5 p.m. Friday.
