UK head coach Mark Stoops has announced that junior safety Davonte Robinson will miss the entire 2019 season after he injured his right quadriceps muscle.

His injury will require season-ending surgery. The Lexington native played in all 13 games last season, starting three of them, while recording 42 tackles for the Wildcats, three for a loss, along with four pass breakups and two fumble recoveries.

Robinson was expected to help fill the shoes of graduated safeties Darius West and Mike Edwards.
