University of Kentucky Athletics announced a seven-year partnership with LLH Healthcare, a company that provides preventative health management plans to large employers.
According to the UK Athletics press release, LLH Healthcare will extend educational resources to UK Athletics and the UK Alumni Association for employee benefits and healthcare literacy.
“We are proud to welcome LLH Healthcare into the BBN family,” UK Director of Athletics Mitch Barnhart said. “Their investment in our program and in our student‑athletes reflects a strong commitment to this University. This partnership provides a great new set of opportunities for our student‑athletes and will add meaningful educational benefits for our community.”
As part of the seven-year agreement, LLH Healthcare has made investments in Name, Image and Likeness initiatives through BBNIL Suite.
NIL refers to the right of student athletes to benefit or profit from the use of their name, image and likeness in endorsements and sponsorships, according to Creighton University.
According to a former press release, BBNIL is a comprehensive, opt-in NIL program available to all UK student-athletes
“Partnering with the University of Kentucky Athletics and the University of Kentucky Alumni Association is incredibly meaningful to us,” Zachary Rogers, CEO of LLH Healthcare, said. “UK represents leadership, tradition, and a deep sense of community, which are values we live every day at LLH.”
