The Kentucky men’s golf team concluded its fall 2025 season in Wilmington, N.C., at Eagle Point Golf Club in The Williams Cup.
The Wildcats finished in 11th place at 25-over-par total.
With this being the last event of the fall season, Kentucky showed improvement with each tournament it participated in.
Through four events, the Wildcats consistently made the top 12, and even broke the top two in the Cullan Brown Collegiate. The Cullan Brown Collegiate is also where they posted their lowest tournament score so far with an 11-under-par 558 total.
Although the tournament was concluded short due to poor weather, the Wildcats crowned their own Cole Stockard as the individual champion.
Stockard is a freshman out of Dalton, Ga., who showed his competitive edge while representing Kentucky on the course. He finished the fall campaign with the team’s third-lowest scoring average of 71.13, and his lowest 18 being a 66.
Stockard became the first individual champion for Kentucky since Alex Goff in 2021.
Jacob Lang, a sophomore, led the team with the lowest average during the fall tenure with an average 18-hole score of 70.63. Luke Coyle, a junior, was second in scoring average with an average of 70.75.
Sophomore Jacob Settles had the lowest 18-hole score as he was able to card a 65 at the University Club at Arlington for the Colonel Classic. Settles captured a runner-up finish during the same event.
All members of the team had a total of six top-10 finishes, 10 top-20 finishes and one solo champion. The team averaged a score of 71.53 during the fall season and their lowest 54-hole span was 205.
The Wildcats will have around one more month of winter, before they will return to competition on Feb. 16-18 in Panama City Beach, Fla., in the Watersound Invitational.
